Maisie is a girl who lives in the Bahamas. One day, Maisie goes swimming on the sea and she sees a piece of wood with three letters: M.N.A. When she tells her grandfather he isn’t paying attention. He is watching a dolphin and an American boat. Granddad says to the American to stop but the boat hits the dolphin. Maise leaves the dolphin in the hospital and her mother helps him. Meanwhile in Maisie’s house the American, Carl Flint, makes a suggestion but Maisie’s father asks him to give them five weeks to think about it. Finally, three weeks later the dolphin, Ben, is ready to go to the sea. Maisie and her granddad leave Ben in the ocean. Ben dives and when they see Ben with a key in his mouth. Maisie follows the dolphin and they find a treasure with Spanish gold. They go back to the hospital and Maisie’s father says no to Carl Flint. They build a new house and the animal hospital. They live there forever, and Ben too.
